MASTERPIECE 04 - OPTIMUS PRIME!

Syukur Alhamdulillah. For a few years I have been wanting one of the most anticipated Transformers figures and today I have finally able to obtain it. The figure is none other than the heroic leader of the Autobots, OPTIMUS PRIME!

This is a Masterpiece design created by TakaraTomy from Japan. Everything on this figure is very detail and neatly designed. Part of it is die-cast metal which makes this figure heavy.

As you can see on the back of the box it shows the many functions and the detailing on this figure. I'm not gonna make a review on this figure as there are already a lot of reviews about it on many websites.

This is Optimus Prime himself. You may not realize how huge he is but if you hold him in person, you'll know how big, tall and heavy he is. Amazing how much effort they put into this figure to make it really look great. To show some comparison, here is a pic I took of all my Optimus Prime collection. You'll see how huge he is.

Anyway I'm very satisfied with this figure. It gives me the most satisfaction than all of my collection put together. Maybe later I'll take more pics of him. So till then, see ya.

Months Of No Updates.

It has been so long since I updated my blog. But for this entry I'm just gonna start with today's update. Not much really. I started my day with a little flu and coughing. Had some 'Nasi Lemak' for breakfast and I didn't have lunch. Just some bread with cheese spread. At about 11a.m I sent my sister to Mid-Valley. She had an outing with her friends.

I came back at spent most of the day watching E.R marathon. Nope, not on Hallmark or any Astro channels. I bought a box set of E.R. Currently I have season 7, 8 and 9 of the E.R television show. I finished two disc of season 9 today and that would be like 7 or 8 episodes with about 45 munites per epi. So you do the math how many hours all together. By the way I'm still coughing and have running nose. But not as bad as in the morning I think.

Come night time, I didn't really feel like having a dinner. So was thinking 'hmm..what to do'. Took out my camera and snap some photos. Below are the results:

Sort of a scene re-enactment from the Revenge Of The Fallen movie. The Forest Battle.

Megatron: Is the future of our race not worth a single human life?!
Optimus: You'll never stop at one. I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON!!

Yeah..I'm a Transformers maniac. Anyway, that's it for today..well tonight. It's late and I think I'm gonna hit the bunk. Till next update...if I feel like it. See ya. Have a nice day.

Linkin Park - New Divide (OST Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen)

It's a great song to me. Some people have been saying that LP is no longer great as before, lost their touch. The songs are no more incredible like the ones before. But to me, they're still kicking ass. They are still great. The songs may not be similar or the same genre as before but hey, at least they are trying new things. If it doesn't work in long term, they still Hybrid Theory and Meteora to save them. Nonetheless they still make great songs and music videos. This new music video has officially becomes my favourite as not only they are Linkin Park with a great song but also the song was made for the new Transformers movie! It's a great music video but sometimes dizzy to watch it. So here it is. Enjoy! : )

Just a Small Review

I'm just gonna do a small review on the new figure I got yesterday. It's the one of the hottest, most wanted Transformers toys currently, the Revenge of The Fallen Leader Class Optimus Prime! :-)

This is the truck mode. There truck is much better than the previous version of him. It's much more accurate to the movie. One thing here they would've made the windows and windscreen tinted so that the gears wont be visible as you can see.

Here he is in robot mode. Just by looking at him you can tell that he is an awesome figure! He is much more accurate to his on screen character. The articulation on him is good. He is pretty stable for a big size toy. The transformation from truck to robot was pretty advance and hard. I can't imagine a four or five year old kid would be able to try transform this guy by himself. I myself took about almost an hour just trying to figure out how to transform this guy for the first time. Even with instruction. But nonetheless with that difficulty of transforming reveals a cool robot mode.

Here he is with his 2007 movie counterpart. As you can see the new Prime is much bigger and taller than his old version. But both figures are great. That's it for a very small review. See ya.

Toys R Us Launches Revenge of The Fallen Figures!

I'm a Star Card member of Toys R Us and I received an email from TRU about the launching of the new Transformers movie figures today. Star Card members will get some gifts with the purchase of some toys. Being a big, biG, bIG, BIG fan I am, I would not miss this opportunity to go and get myself some new Transformers figures.

The launching event starts at 8.30 am. I figured at that early, not many people would go at the start of the launch. At least not the small children. So I went to TRU Subang Parade with my sister and reached there about 9.00 am. I was DEAD WRONG! As I entered the parking place I already saw several people about to go home with big TRU plastic bags filled with many, many Transformers figures! At that time I was afraid that the ones that I wanted will be long gone. Got into Subang Parade and head straight towards TRU and there it was, crowded with people grabbing the toys. As I suspected, the ones that I want were no longer on the shelves. The ones that I wanted were the ones must have or most wanted. Seeing that those figures were no longer on the shelves, I took two figures that were my second choices. Even those were left little on the shelves. After holding those two in hands, I waited in case the staff would bring out more figures and possibly the ones I want.

While waiting suddenly I saw one of the figures I wanted sitting on the shelf. Probably someone put it back. No one was going to take it so I quickly grab it and hooray, got one of two. I waited some more and hoping that someone would put back the other figure on the shelf so I could purchase it. And yes, my wish came through. Thanx to my sister for seeing this one guy about to put back the figure that I wanted. Before he got to put it I quickly asked him is he putting the figure back and he said yes. So I immediately asked him to give it to me. And yeay, he gave it to me and even polite enough to offer me the other toy he was about to place it back on the shelf but it was the one that I already have in hand. So the two figures I really wanted are in my hands. I only have the budget to purchase three figures so I had to put back one of them. The one that I returned I'm sure will still be available. At first I thought of only getting two figures, but since I had a budget that's enough for three then I thought might as well purchase three figures. And so I did.

So here are the three figures that I got:

Top: Sideswipe. Bottom: Sideways, Rampage

Rampage (Decepticon). Bulldozer.

Sideways (Decepticon). Audi R8

Sideswipe (Autobot). Concept Corvette.

Overall I'm pretty happy with these three figures. More addition to my collection. :)

P/S: Can't wait for the movie to see these guys in action. :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Today is Mother's Day. My dad decided that the whole family should go out and have lunch together. My sister has been wanting to eat Dim Sum for quite sometime so my dad made a reservation at Quality Hotel at Jalan Raja Laut (opposite Pertama Complex). At around 12.30pm we left home and head for the hotel. The name of the restaurant at the hotel is Meisan Szechuan Restaurant. It was a buffet lunch. I forgot to ask my dad how much is it per person. So since it was buffet, we can take as many Dim Sum as we want. Here are some pics:

Some of the Dim Sum we took. There were more but these were the first batch. :)

My beloved family! And my sister enjoying her moment of eating!

Here's me enjoying my food. :)

Overall it's not the best I had but when you haven't had something you like for so long, the food were definitely delicious. We didn't spend much time there. We arrive at about 1pm and left around 2.15. So that was our activity today for Mother's Day. My dad 'belanja' us today.

Other than that I got myself a glass cabinet today at Ikea. The glass cabinet is for displaying my Transformers figures as I have really run out of space to display them in my room. When we got back from lunch (got the cabinet before went to lunch), I spend the whole afternoon assembling the cabinet with the help of my sister. After finished assembling immediately I re-arrange the figures and below is the result.

The glass cabinet. Before.

After.

So there it was for today. Happy Mother's Day mama. And to all mother's in the world. They are the ones with most sacrifices in their lives compares to other people to ensure their children, us, to be safe and happy as long as they lived. I'm sure everyone agrees with me. That is why 'Syurga terletak di bawah telapak kaki ibu'. Love you mama. :)

As Per Requested

Ok. Here it is. Some of you asked me to post and show my Tissot watch. So here are a couple of pics. I'm not 'menunjuk-nunjuk' ok. You asked for the pictures.

Here's the watch. :)

Here are the books the came together in the set. :)

So, there you have it. My Tissot Chronograph. :)
How do you all find it? :)

Been Spending a Lot!! Stop Me!!

Here's a coverage on the past two days. I have been spending a lot on Transformers for the last couple of days. I bought one figure per day for two days straight. Three days if u include Monday. It might not seem a lot just one figure per purchase but for three days straight and each costs above 50 bucks, that's too much.

On Tuesday I sent my sister for her facial appointment at New York Skin Care in Subang Parade. I stop by Toys'R'Us just to look for anything new (Transformers figures). Nothing there so I went to Parkson. There were some new figures on the shelves. So I took one.

This guy here is called Dinobot. He is bad fellow.

Velociraptor mode. Courtesy of watching Jurassic Park.

Then yesterday. My sister and her friend decided to hang out at Sunway Pyramid. So I sent her there. As usual, I would go and check some figures at several stores namely Dreamztoy, Animetech and Parkson. At Dreamztoy, there it was another figure that I wanted. So without
thinking, I just purchased it.

This guy's name is Hot Shot. The little guy is Jolt.

Cool car mode.

I don't know what came over me on past couple of days. Maybe I'm just in the mood of buying Transformers to add to my collection. Maybe I'm just trying to make myself feel better. I guess I didn't realize I spent that much. Somebody stop me.

Been Awhile, 'Cukur Jambul', Engagement and Wolverine

It's been quite a long time since the last time I blog. I have no mood at all to blog since a certain 'incident' took place about a month ago. Those of you who know then you know what I'm talking about. Not many of you know, only some. I'm still struggling with that..hmm...Anyway I'm starting to blogging again now, little by little and try to distract myself. There are gonna be three sections I'm gonna be writing here. Let's start with the first one.

Last Saturday was my cousin's son 'cukur jambul' ceremony (I'm not sure what the english term for 'cukur jambul'). My family and I went to my uncle's house around 3 sumthing however the ceremony started late in the afternoon at around 5.30p.m. Several people from the mosque came to my cousin's house. This was not my first 'cukur jambul' ceremony I went but it was the first time that I actually cut a few of the baby's hair :) . My uncle ordered three roast lamb as the main feast. It was delicious. Aside from that there were some 'pulut kuning', 'rendang', 'kuih-muih'. After all that we came back home at around eight sumthing.

Here's me making faces at the baby. huhu.

Here's me cutting a few of the baby's hair :) [my hands a bit shakey; afraid that I'd accidentally hurt the baby]

Next on Sunday was my other cousin's engagement. The day before and two days earlier I was busy cleaning up the house, moving some furnitures around and more. Some of my relatives came from Kelantan for the engagement. This cousin of mine is the closest I have as my big sister. She's the daughter of my mom's immediate sister so we are close. There were a lot of stuff to do to make sure the house looks nice especially there are some renovations being done to the house. A lot of dirt and dust around. So last weekend was a bit tired for me. The engagement went quite alright except there was an incident where there wasn't enough rice for the guests. So my cousin and I had to go to the mamak stall and buy about 20 packets of plain rice. This happened probably because the guests came more than mentioned. However there were still a lot of leftovers and we asked our relatives to bring home some of the food. The engagement ceremony ended at around three sumthing and all of us were very tired and slept the rest of the afternoon. After done resting, again had to rearrange the furnitures and clean up the house. It took almost the whole night. Later at night we started opening the 'hantaran' from the guy's side and went to bed.

Here's my Kak Long :)

My big sister and me :) but she's smaller than me. Get it? Ehehe.

Now for today. Early in the morning I had to wake up and send my grandfather to my uncle's house at Desapark City. From there my grandfather went back to Kelantan with my other two other uncles and auntie. Then came back and decided with my sister and my cousin (Kak Long's sister) to go and watch Wolverine. I decided to watch it at Times Square so that I could stop by at my favourite store; Graffiti Toys so that I could survey the Transformers figures. The movie was at 12.40 p.m so we left around 11 sumthing. We bought our tickets and while waiting, went to the toy store. After about 20 mins going up and down the aisle, looking and thinking and finally this was the one I decided on:
This is Ratchet. He is the medical officer for the Autobots (buat2 la paham ye)

After that it's nearly 12.30 so we went down to the cinema for the movie. The movie was ok. One of the best movie I've seen yet for this year (of course soon the best movie for me will be Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen! Can't wait for the movie). Anyway for Wolverine, Hugh Jackman potrayed the character nicely. He really showed the character's nature. Another two characters in the movie that have become the talk among fans were Gambit (that didn't make it in the X-Men trilogy) and Wade Wilson a.k.a Deadpool (towards the end of the movie). Gambit has been well known by anyone but Deadpool might not be as popular and known unless you're a big fan of Marvel comics characters. I know the character Deadpool but I didn't recognize him in the movie (I'm not a big fan. I prefer DC comics that creates Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman, etc). However there were many changes made to the characters and the storyline. Some die hard fans might not be pleased but for me it was an entertaining movie. We ate 1901's while watching the movie as we haven't eat anything yet before the movie. After the movie we came back home, rest, watched some tv and here I am blogging.

So all and all last weekend was tiring for me. Well that's it for now. Hopefully after this I will continue blogging almost regularly. I'll try.

I'm suppose to be in the cardboard picture as well but they cut me out. Huhuhu. Eheh.

I know it's not related to Wolverine but how can I not take a picture with these guys right?! :)
(u ppl know how crazy I am about these guys). Can't wait for this movie! It will be HUGE!!!

Got It! Finally.

So today is 15th March. I guess I'm a year and one day older. Hehe. Well today I woke up around 8.30 am but I didn't get up well. It was raining outside, or at least it was drizzling. It made me hard to get up but had to because I'm trying not to wake up more than 9 am. So I forced myself to get up. However I was really feeling sleepy because I slept at 3 sumthing last night. So i got up, took a shower, had some breakfast and then I tuned in Disney Channel and it was showing Cars. I really like this animated film. I never get tired of watching this over and over. I think I've watched it at least 4 times. Today was supposed to go out with my close friends but I was told that most of them are not free. So again spend the day at home.

After the movie ends I felt very sleepy and I dozed off. I didn't realize when I felt asleep. When I woke up it was around 3 already. It was a long nap. After that I woke up, read some newspaper, watched a little more tv, pray and so forth. By that time my dad and my sis are already home. My mom's not home yet. She's coming back tonight with my uncle from Kelantan. Around 5 sumthing we went out to have early dinner. My sis said she was hungry because didn't have lunch. So we went to Vichudda and ordered 'telur bistik', 'kailan ikan masin' and steamed siakap. Three kinds of dishes was already enough for us.

Now the title 'Got It' comes at this part. My dad said he'd buy me a present for my birthday. So I said I want a new game. So after we had our early dinner, we stopped by Cineleisure to go to Gamer's Hideout. I wasn't sure on what game I wanted and suddenly I saw Blue Dragon! Hooray! Without hesitation I decided to take it. Yes! Finally I got it. Thanx dad. I wanted Blue Dragon ever since I bought Xbox 360 and that was August 2007. This game was released in 2007 so it only costs RM110. I've read some good reviews about this game so I hope I'll have fun playing this game. For those of you who read and watch Dragonball (the manga and anime, not the new movie), you'll notice that the design of the characters are similar. You can see that this character below here is somewhat similar to Goku when he was small.

So I guess that's it for now. Until next time, see ya!

End of (Birth)Day.

So it is the end of 14th March. Like most things, my birthday comes to an end. So the so called 'my day' is no more. But it was no different than any other day anyway. Didn't go out to celebrate or anything. My parents went back to Kelantan. So I just spent most of the day at home.

Woke up in the morning and had to fetch my maid from Kg. Kayu Ara as always on Saturday. While at home had to take care some stuff to like the pest control came over today and deal with the workers who are renovating my house. Then some time around 3 Hafiz came to my house. He really wanted to play the game Guitar Hero. So we played the game for like almost 2 hours like that. He was so excited. He played the game until he cant hold the guitar anymore. Haha.

And then we switch from playing Guitar Hero to Gears of War 2. Hehe. This time we were like trash talking, fighting, shooting Locusts (the alien race that we had to battle in the game). Hehe. This indeed is an excellent game. It's not just game where you played blindly. It has a great stroyline, great characters, strong events that'll put you at the edge of your seat. It seems like you're watching a movie and be in it at the same time. Interactive movie game. Hehe. Now it makes me want to play Halo 3 more. Gears of War 2 is great and I hope I can find Gears of War 1 because the GoW 2 is a sequel to GoW 1. And by next year there will be GoW 3. The story still has not end yet.

We played the game until around 8 sumthing and then we head to watched Man U against Liverpool. This match has been one of the most shocking match. Sure many predicted that Man U would win but Liverpool has been in great form. So I thought that Liverpool also has as many chance of winning as Man U (I'm on neither side of these teams). And so the worse has happen to Man U. Liverpool did win. Not only Liverpool won, but they trashed Man U 4 goals to 1. Not to say that Man U played very badly but it was one of the worst. Man U goalkeeper Van Der Sar did not seem to be focusing right in this match. There were 2 goals conceded that he only stood by and watched. To make things worse, Man U was trashed at its home stadium at Old Trafford.

And so that's it. The game ended at around 10.45 and I came back home straight. Took my shower and here I am posting in the blog. That's pretty much how I spent my birthday today. Yeah I know to some people this seems to be a very lame and boring way to spend a birthday. Well, that's it for how I spend my birthday. Take care everyone. Thanx very much to everyone for the wishes.

Until next time, see ya.

Congratulation to My Little Sis!

As everyone knows today is the release of SPM results. My younger sister took her SPM last year. Today was a very important day to her. She has been restless for the past few days waiting for the results. And so today she got it. Congratulation to her! She got 9As and 1B! Even though it is not straight As but this is already good enough. I'm very proud of her. She worked hard and smart for the past two years and it pays off.

My result was nowhere near hers. She is definitely the better of us two..huhu. Hehe. Anyway again I'll say I'm very proud of her. So from here she must decide what exactly that she wants to do. Be it medic, engineering, etc but it must be the one that she really wants and likes to do.

Again, CONGRATULATION sis!! :)

Guitar Hero: World Tour

It's been quite a while since the last time I update my blog. So now here'e an update. Nothing much here exactly. Just a video of me playing Guitar Hero: World Tour.

This game is really cool and fun. Here I played one of my favourite song by Linkin Park - What I've Done. I played this song on level hard. To those who regularly play this game, they'll know that this is an easy song to play. Most people can nailed it on expert level but I can only manage to play on level hard so far. Well this is it. I present to you Linkin Park, What I've Done.

Enjoy! :)

A New Watch for Me! :D

When I woke up today I have no plans at all for today. Thinking probably it will be just like any other weekend. After bathing and had breakfast, I'm ready to send my sis to work but then my mom said she wanted to go to KlCC to buy her cosmetic stuffs. A lot she said. She wanted to go to Isetan because we will get vouchers when purchasing cosmetics and fragrances. Spend RM100 will entitle to a RM10 cash voucher. After sending my sis to work we head off to Suria KLCC. My mom said that she could spend up to RM1,000 for her cosmetics this time. I was looking forward for the cash vouchers so that I could spend it on some Transformers :P

After spending about an hour or so at the cosmetic section, the total bill came out to around RM2,900 which entitled us to a RM290 cash vouchers. After redeeming the vouchers, my mom said that why not use it to buy the Tissot watch that I had been wanting since last year. So we went up to 1st or 2nd floor (couldn't recall) and looked at the watches. There's a 10% discount on any Tissot watches. With the discount and cash vouchers that we had, my mom said take this advantage ad purchase the Tissot. And so we did. Yeay! Alhamdulillah, I have a Tissot watch. This could be my forever life-time watch. I never thought that she would actually buy an expensive watch for me after all and lots of things that she had spent on and for me. I'm so grateful to my mom. Thank you mama!

The box.

Until next time, see ya!

Note:

1. I'm very grateful to my mom.

2. There will be no birthday present from my mom this year. This considers as it.

3. This goes to all of us. No matter how annoying, strict our parents can be, they will always love us and they will do anything to keep us safe and happy. Be grateful to them and pray for them always. Keep that in mind.

Teh Tarik Place; New Figures.

Today woke up around 8 sumthing (like always). Brushed my teeth then had to wash my cat house. After that had shower and ready to send my cousin to One Utama. My sis n cousin working at Adidas rite now while waiting for their SPM result. Today was my sis's day off so after sending my cousin we walked around a lil bit before my sis went to watch a movie with her friend.

Before my cousin started her work we had breakfast at this place called Teh Tarik Place. Here's a little review. Supposedly this is a new food outlet that sells mamak food with a little modern setting. If you ask me I'm not really fond of this outlet. Not that I'm condemning this shop or anything but for mamak food might as well go to a real mamak outlet. The price range is kinda a little bit over priced for mamak food. A plate of Maggi Goreng here cost RM5.90 which for the same dish at normal mamak store would cost RM3 or RM3.50. I didn't order it by the way. My sister ordered Mee Goreng which also cost the same as Maggi Goreng and my cousin ordered 'roti telur' which I think cost about RM1.80. I ordered 'teh tarik' which cost RM1.30. Plus they also have a 5% govt. tax. I'm not brainwashing anyone to not to go have meal there. This is just my opinion. To me it is not that worth it to have mamak food style at Teh Tarik Place. Well we can't really blame the food being a bit over priced because with modern style setting, renting in One Utama, it's reasonable for them to set the price range. But for me, I would just rather go to a normal mamak store. If you are curious, just go and have a try and then you be the judge. If you like it then good for you. :) That's it for a small review of Teh Tarik Place.

On my way back I stopped by Subang Parade and went to Toys'R'Us. Hoping to find that some new Transformers figures have arrived. Lucky me there are some new figures arrived and what I wanted. So I picked up two new figures. Hehe. After I make my purchase I immediately went straight home. At around 3 sumthing went to pick my sister from One Utama and came straight home. After that just stayed home and relax, watched TV and now here I am updating my blog.

So till next time, see ya.

First Post!

Hello to all. Finally decided to create a blog after thinking many times but never initiate it. Since I already created it so I guess I'll start blogging.

The title 'Minutes In Life'. Why i chose this simply because every minute in our life counts. In fact every second counts. But seconds are too fast so I decided to go with minutes. Posting in this blog may not be regular and constant. Depends on my mood and if there's anything interesting to post. Everyday is about the same for me. I'm not that outgoing and adventurous so mostly it would be like eat, sleep, watching TV and what not.

So let's start. As of now I am unofficially finished with my studies in university. It'll be official when the exam results are out. If I pass everything then I have graduated. If not then, well u know. Results will come out in 2 - 3 weeks time. I will have to start looking for a job now but I have no idea where to start. Most of my friends have started working already. I'll just see how this will go.

On another topic, today my family and I (minus my sis) had lunch at Palm Garden. The one beside IOI Resort at Seri Kembangan/Putrajaya. We reached there around almost 2 o'clock. There was a birthday party for my cousin's two year old daughter. It was held at the restaurant there. As usual hotel food served buffet style. The food/desserts were not bad (for me at least). There were a lot of kinds such as Chicken Rice, Lasagna, Pasta, Cold Platter (kinda like Sashimi), Satay, Roast Lamb, Bread Pudding, Ice creams and cakes. I didn't know what's the cost per person but since my cousin's husband is paying for everyone so I just stuffed myself. Hehe. I didn't eat everything there but I tried most of it with small portion each. At about 3 sumthing we came back home. While relaxing at home I watched two episodes of Law & Order in my laptop. The episodes are from the latest season of the TV series. Speaking of TV series I like mostly the investigation type. So u can guess what TV series I like to watch. CSI, CSI:NY, Numb3rs, House (medical investigation), ER, Midsomer Murders. I also enjoy watching sitcoms.

My alltime favourite sitcom, like many other people, is FRIENDS. To me this is one sitcom that feels natural. Six bestfriends hanging out and going through ups and downs in everyday life together. It portrayed scenarios like any other people go through in their lives everyday. Other sitcoms are funny too but the funny bit doesn't seem natural and sometimes the bits are acted a little too much. Nonetheless I still enjoy watching other sitcoms.

Well I'll stop here for now. I'll probably post again tomorrow. See ya.
